Grey Squirrels are part of the rodent family and as such have certain features in common with rats and mice. They have the same need to gnaw, due to there constantly growing incisors. This means that when they access roof spaces the damage can be extensive. Electrical fires due to chewed cables, gnawed through water pipes and structural damage to timbers are the most common hazards.
We offer an integrated solution to this which doesn’t just involve getting rid of the pest, but also investigating the cause of its presence.
Red squirrels are a native species which must not be targeted as part of a pest control program. We can offer advice on how to proof your house to stop access, but they must not be subject to a trapping or baiting program.
Moles can not only ruin your lawn and in turn damage your mower, but the runs which they use to travel in can often collapse when walked on causing injury. We operate a no catch, no fee policy which means that if we are not successful then you don’t pay a penny.
Frequently asked questions – Moles
Can I use a deterrent such as a sonar device?
In our experience these devices are rarely useful and there is very little research to support their claims. The same goes for windmills, mothballs, or any other ‘traditional’ mole deterrents. Unfortunately the only way to deal with moles is by trapping
How many moles do I have?
Moles are hugely territorial and patrol and defend their patch with vigour. One mole can occupy up to 4 acres of land, coming together only to breed. As soon as the litter of young are ready they too are expelled from the territory.
